Here are some young people you may enjoy to know about

. At 16, Ocean founded Youth for Environmental Sanity (YES!), which he has directed for the better part of the years since.

YES! has reached more than 620,000 people in more than 1,200 school assembly and conference presentations. YES! has also organized and facilitated 83 week-long camps and youth Jams for young leaders from 55 nations, published seven youth action guides, and led 150 day-long youth training workshops.

Yes! has been organising many amazing Youth Jams. Here are some of the young people that have participated and become members of the Yes Jamily. For example, meet the people of the World Jam 2003!
.
This is a GREAT VIDEO
about Youth Jams!

You can download the video from PNYV!'s frontpage at http://pnyv.org

Then, of course, there is Ryan Hreljac, who decided at the age of 6 to keep on working on making safe water available to everyone in the world. At 12, he had already collected 2.5 million dollars... At 12 years of age, Craig decided he is not going to put up with Child Slavery. He founded the youth-run NGO Free The Children, with now more than 1 million members and a great record of success... Aika was 12 when she created a stunning picture book educating children about the importance of caring for the Planet.

Of course, children grow into adults who have lived decades of positive action and innovation!

Wangari is one of them. She has started quite a movement in Kenya.

And there are many more adults that do care and achieve significant change.

Meet dozens of amazing, courageous people that have been honoured with the Right Livelihood Award, also know as the Alternative Nobel Prize. And you can MEET many global visionaries of our times in person. Visit Big Picture TV for lots and lots of quick video interview clips with visionaries explaining global issues.
Sometimes, people achieve very astonoushing things, like planting and harvesting water in drought stricken areas. Sounds like a good example to share... and there are so many more! ZERI's (Zero Emission Research Initiative) work is spreading around the world. In Southern Brazil, hundreds of thousands of state school children are already learning about their principles and application.
You can find many such successful positive action examples at Changemakers.Net.

They also have monthly themes / competitions for collecting, discussing and honouring good practice solutions to special critical issues

And like the adult changemakers have their online communities, so do the young people!

Takingitglobal has more than 100,000 members in 200 countries.

Youth Action for Change do online training courses about global issues by young people for young people.

OXFAM's International Youth Parliament is just around the corner in Sydney.

They offer information, community-building, projects, discussions, events and tools.

Some youth organisations are a close, strategic partner of the United Nations for Global Campaigns, like the Millenium Development Goals Youth Campaign.

There is a growing movement of positive people world-around, and there are countless opportunities to get involved.
If you get your mind, heart and hands into gear.
Oh, this was it - we are back.
We hope you enjoyed your flight program, and have enjoyed these some sunny sites, minds and hearts of humankind.

If you are hot for more, maybe start with learning about the ORIGINS OF SPREADING GOOD EXAMPLES, which date back to the Fifties.

As you see it takes a long time for good things to spread, and we find it is time to Accelerate Positive Acceleration. If you want to folllow this path, and transform into a bright changemaker, enjoying the company of other inspired people, want to detach yourself from the collective participation in destroying the web life on this planet through a naive, grossly irresponsible lifestyle, and enable yourself to become a Fair Global Citizen being part of the solution and working towards evolving your utmost potentials, maybe consider GREATEST ADVENTURE OF ALL, and participate in discussions at the IDEC ISLE and spend some time on learning things that matter to more that just you :-)
